Karibu ! Welcome!

We specialise in showing small parties the best that this amazing country has to offer using smaller, private, lodges, camps and hotels. We are experts at taking our clients away from the beaten tourist path and pride ourselves on being able to show "The Real Kenya" at a relaxed pace. The emphasis is on allowing our clients the opportunity to really enjoy each destination that they visit.

Testimonial:

"The holiday was truly awe-inspiring in the true sense of the word. I have never been to a country so full of life, so colourful and so awash with unforgettable experiences. Your staff at Sokonoi are a credit to your organisation, and some of the friendliest, most cultured and sincere people we have ever had the joy of meeting. It was also humbling to see how happy the children in the local villages were - a truly humbling experience.

The scenery and wildlife we saw went far beyond our wildest dreams. Jacob wrote a list for us which numbered over 70 in total - quite incredible.

Neither of us are campers, yet the camp was a level of luxury that we had not expected and we felt totally at home. Audrey loved the Sunday Roast - a stroke of genius on your part! Despite all of the wild animals around us, there wasn't a moment we felt unsafe. All thanks to the staff, their assuredness and their friendliness. " Mr Nick Capewell, Birmingham, UK, August 2008

Testimonial:

"Sokonoi Camp was luxuriously appointed and the staff was both attentive and friendly. I loved seeing our traditional Masai guards in their traditional attire and armed with their spears. The food was wonderful ... After a pleasant night's sleep (with lions making enough noise in the distance to keep you wondering), we awoke at dawn to embark on our full day drive in the Mara.

We saw every type of wild life imaginable, most of them several times during the course of our day. My life felt complete after finally seeing Elephants at home in Africa. We experienced the notorious crossing of the Wildebeest at the Mara River and ate lunch on the Tanzania border. To say it was a day worth remembering would be like saying electricity had a mild impact on the modern world. " Autumn Spredemann, Milwauke USA August 2007
