Safari Itineraries

For 2008, in addition to our tailor-made safaris, we are running a series of packaged safaris with fixed itineraries. These safaris are available all year round and can be run with any number of clients. Each safari has been carefully planned from years of experience in Kenya with top quality accommodation in fabulous destinations. We also have short breaks at Sokonoi Camp for clients who are staying on the Kenya coast or visiting Nairobi and want to escape to the bush.

Various activities can be added to your safari (see list) and we are happy to arrange these on your behalf.

The price quoted for each safari is based on 2 people travelling. Prices will vary for larger parties. The itineraries are outlined below. Kenya Safaris 2008

Beach and Bush (14 days):

Description: A superb beach holiday staying at one of the best hotels on the coast together with a fly-in safari to the Maasai Mara for 3 nights.

Great Migration Safari (4 days):

Description: See the greatest game show on the planet. 4 nights in the Maasai Mara based at Sokonoi Camp. We guarantee to get you into the thick of the action when the Migration crosses in to Kenya. Your game drives in the reserve will be conducted by our experienced local guides in fully prepared Land Rovers (We do not use mini-buses) with a maximum of 4 people per vehicle. This safari will run from 15th July to 31st October and is available outside of the migration season as well.

Classic Kenya Safari (14 days):

Description: An amazing safari combining breathtaking scenery and wildlife diversity with some of the finest accommodation in Kenya. This 14-day trip will take you from the arid beauty of Larsens Camp, Samburu, across the majestic Aberdare Mountains after a night at The Outspan, into The Great Rift Valley to stay at Elsamere on the shores of Lake Naivasha, on to Sokonoi Camp in the Maasai Mara and finally finishing off in style with a flight to The Sands Hotel on Diani Beach.

NB:If you do not like the idea of staying in tented camps, even though they are extremely comfortable, this safari can also be booked using Samburu Game Lodge and Keekorok Lodge as alternative accommodation to Larsens and Sokonoi Camps. Different rates will apply.

Misty Peaks Lakes and Plains (14 days):

This safari will show you Kenya at its most diverse as you take in the forests and mountains of the Aberdares, beautiful, serene Lake Baringo, wild and steamy Lake Bogoria, Naivasha-the highest lake in the Rift Valley and the luxury of our private camp in the Maasai Mara. The whole package is rounded off with a flight to The Sands Boutique Hotel on Diani Beach.
